Our Story

Carolina Land Acquisitions, Inc. (CLA) was formed in 1998 to assist the North Carolina Department of Transportation with the acquisition of right of way for public improvement projects. Over the past twenty years CLA has broadened its client base to include various federal, state, and municipality agencies; including engineering firms.

Our experience includes preliminary project activities such as public hearings, cost estimates, environmental impact studies, and project scheduling.  Project activities include but are not limited to project management, property owner negotiations, property management, deed and title research, property surveys, condemnation appraisal services, business and residential relocation assistance, public utility relocation assistance, asbestos assessment / abatement services and demolition.

Carolina Land Acquisitions maintains a corporate office minutes from downtown Raleigh in Zebulon, NC;  a Central Office in Greensboro, NC;  and a Western Office in Arden, NC; and an Appraisal Office in Matthews, NC.  Full time staff, full service activities, knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations and expertise in the condemnation process means CLA offers the best possible answer to your land acquisitions needs.
